Sterling Generators Private Limited (SGPL), a subsidiary of the Sterling and Wilson Group, has secured orders worth INR 510 crore (~$68 million) for the financial year ending March 31, 2023. The company has been rapidly gaining traction in the auxiliary power industry since partnering with engine supplier Moteurs Baudouin. SGPL has secured multiple orders in the commercial segment, including three orders from large customers in the data centers segment, one in Malaysia and two in India. Data centers have become essential infrastructure for many businesses, making reliable power backup crucial to avoid data loss during power outages. According to reports, the global data center generator market is set to grow at a CAGR between 4-5% by 2030.

SGPL’s product offers 100% uptime with high reliability

SGPL’s CEO, Sanjay Jadhav, attributed the strong order book to the company’s partnership with Moteurs Baudouin and the superior technology it provides. He added that data centers have become a favored infrastructure asset class due to increased demand for data post-pandemic. SGPL’s product offers 100% uptime with high reliability, a wide range, and superior features best suited for data centers. With a robust distributor network and Asia’s leading genset manufacturing plant, SGPL is ready to deliver reliable 24/7 power backup solutions globally.
