Singapore Airlines (SIA) has once again been crowned the World’s Best Airline in the prestigious 2023 Skytrax World Airline Awards, marking its fifth victory in this category.
In addition to claiming the top spot as the World’s Best Airline, SIA also triumphed in four other categories. It was awarded Best First Class Airline and Best First Class Comfort Amenities, reinforcing its commitment to exceptional luxury travel.
Furthermore, SIA was recognized as the Best Airline in Asia. Meanwhile, its subsidiary Scoot, specializing in low-cost flights, was honored as the Best Long Haul Low-cost Airline and secured second place in the World’s Best Low-cost Airlines ranking.
The Skytrax awards are based on the opinions of more than 20 million travelers from over 100 nationalities. The extensive survey spanned the period between September 2022 and May 2023 and encompassed feedback on more than 325 airlines.
Goh Choon Phong accepts the award
