[I-Pac] Indian Political Action Committee, which was taken a shape by the creative minds in political strategies now turned to be a destination for many political parties in India in its eight years of journey. The organization itself marked its existence in Indian Politics. Taking from its initial footprints by the Bharatiya Janatha Party till now I-PAC’s journey is a never-ending success story.
In the initial days, Prashant Kishor, a Political Strategist, was reportedly the face of the firm and an invisible person behind the moves of prominent political parties which were striving to gain power in their respective states. He was the man who took care of the political campaigns of the then Chief Minister of Gujarath, Narendra Modi, in his fight for the 2014 Indian General Election.
His creative Ideas in reaching out to the people across the country were well executed and received by the people, despite they were not aware of the man behind Narendra Modi’s innovative political campaigns. As well as Prashanth Kishore, a few creative minds, who cemented their mark in the Indian Advertising Industry, like, Piyush Pandy and others, were also part of Narendra Modi’s campaign. They immensely contributed to BJP with their television commercials and especially with the wide attention grabbed slogans. Ab Ki Baar Modi Sarkar, Sabkaa Saath Sabka Vikas.. and many more had done their share of efforts in making Narendra Modia a national leader.
First Instance, when I-PAC was noticed
I-PAC was noticed by Indians after a pic of Prashanth Kishore meeting Narendra Modi after the results of the 2014 General Elections were out. Eventually, that kind of instance turned to be a tradition for Prashanth to meet with the leaders he worked for after the results.
In that one election when Prashanth worked for JDU leader Nithish Kumar, in Bihar, the results were adverse for BJP and that made Prashanth Kishore the most wanted for political parties in the country, especially in the regional states. Despite having a setback in the Uttar Pradesh elections where BJP demolished the oppositions and formed the government in the state, Prashanth had not been blamed for the results.
The man behind many political parties and their strategies
His strategies worked for Captain Amarinder in Punjab, YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh (Here, PK was attacked personally and criticized by the then ruling party Telugu Deshma following the state where he comes from), Mk Stalin in Tamilnadu, Mamatha Benarge in West Bengal ( Where the consecutive terms Chief Minister of the state effectively kicked out BJP and its national leadership).
After the West Bengal and Tamilnadu elections, Prashanth Kishore dropped bombshells and declared that he was leaving his profession to give a dedicated time for his family. Later, a few reports claimed that Prashant would join congress which turned to be a question so for (when this story was filed).
Now I-PAC is working for different political parties in the country from various states and being a part of the decisions of the state governments in a few states, in the hands of others. However, the 8 years of I-PAC’s journey created a benchmark in Indian Political History.
Marking the special day, all of the I-PAC offices in various states lightened up and celebrated cheerfully.
