Hospital’s Third Anniversary celebrations were held with great pomp and gaiety
Hyderabad: SLG Hospitals, one of the leading healthcare facilities in the city, on Monday celebrated the third anniversary of its inception with great pomp and gaiety. On the occasion, the hospital management recognized all Doctors, nurses, and members of support staff for demonstrating great commitment towards “serving humanity”, especially in the times of the Covid-19 pandemic, which had put the healthcare machinery across the World under great stress.
SLG Hospitals also celebrated its empanelment under the Government of Telangana’s Aarogyasri scheme; and also getting the license to perform kidney transplant surgeries.
A colorful and fun-filled evening was organized to celebrate the occasion, and all doctors, staff, well-wishers, special invitees, and some patients participated. Management presented mementos to doctors, nurses, and key support staff members to commemorate the occasion. While some sports competitions were organized by the hospital management in the run-up to this day, doctors and other staff members gave some cultural performances to make this evening special.
Every individual deserves credit
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Dandu Siva Rama Raju, Chairman & Managing Director, SLG Hospitals said, “We are a young and dynamic institution which faced possibly its toughest phase right at the start! In less than one year of its inception, the management, doctors, and staff at SLG Hospital were challenged by a pandemic that rocked the world. We had complete trust in our doctors, and they even risked their lives to fight this deadly virus. We have successfully completed 1095 days or 26,240 hours of unhindered service to humanity. This is no mean achievement and every individual associated with this institution deserves credit for this.”
Carved their names in the history
“In addition to our doctors, young members of our nursing department and support staff, stood ground in these difficult times, and ensured thousands of lives are saved in these unprecedented times. Life was not easy for these young souls, yet they faced the challenge with a smile on their faces. We have many testimonials appreciating the yeomen service of our staff, from the patients who recovered and went back to lead a happy life. These heroes have forever carved their names in the history for playing prominent roles in the most challenging of times,” added Mr. D V S Soma Raju, Executive Director, SLG Hospitals.
Dr. Pradeep Panigrahi, Medical Director, SLG Hospitals too lauded the efforts of doctors and other staff members. The event was attended by more than 450 people from all walks of life, and all have praised the commitment and efforts of SLG Hospitals. Best wishes have poured in from various sections of the society, including those from the Government.
